Jonesy is a cat we have gotten to know very well!  He did not always appreciate our hospitality, but not all cats find a shelter environment comfortable.  Even if they had been eating from the streets before!

And even if they’d been in fights on the streets, for that matter.  Jonesy picked up FIV during his time in the wild.  This really just means a lower immune system, and he simply needs safe, quality care to help him live as long, on average, as any other cat.  

 

Little by little, Jonesy came out of his shell.  We saw the potential, and we worked with it.  He likes a calm approach and gentle pets.  He would probably not be a great choice for kids who want to play with a cat—Jonesy is for a discerning experienced cat owner who knows what a wonderful thing it is to truly win over a cat’s heart, through and through.  These are the cats who will love you with everything they have, until the very end.  Is that a bond you crave?  Apply to meet Jonesy.  There is no obligation to adopt him, but he’s worth knowing.

We do not have a walk-in facility; most of our cats are in foster homes.  For this reason, we require an approved application on file before we set up a meet and greet. 
 
Completing an online application does not obligate you to adopt! We care deeply about our cats and want the best match for all involved. 
 
All CATsNAP cats and kittens are: 
  • Vaccination against Panleukopenia (Distemper), Rhinotracheitis, and Calicivirus  
  • Vaccination against Rabies (if animal is over 4 months of age) 
  • Testing for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV)  
  • Initial de-worming, flea, and ear mite treatment 
  • Sterilization of the animal prior to adoption; no exceptions 
  • Micro-chipping as mandated by state law
