Howie has a colorful story, being rescued from a porch by his loving kitten foster, learning to warm up and to trust people, and being adopted into a wonderful home!  Unfortunately, Howie's people had to make the heartbreaking decision of returning him, and they are in our prayers.  Howie is a cat who will definitely need an adjustment period--pretty much all cats honestly do, but Howie is someone who needs to lay low for a bit and observe his surroundings until he feels safe.  However, thanks to the foundation built by his foster and adoptive homes, he does know deep down that people are safe, and he will come out and blossom!  He is a lovely and affectionate cat, very cute and sweet, and still rather a youngster at under 3 (we know for sure because we had him as a baby!).  A key to his heart. . . squeeze up style treats!!  Howie really loves these, and it helps to show him that your intentions are pure if you give him an extra-delicious snack.  He will start coming out of his hiding spots to see what you have, and to get and give some love!

Testing for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) [cats] 

Initial de-worming, flea, and ear mite treatment

Sterilization of the animal prior to adoption; no exceptions Micro-chipping as mandated by state law

For cats that are in our program and already declawed prior to intake  we do charge more. We are a no declaw group but sometimes declawed cats need rescuing also.
