My name is Catherine. I am 2-3 years old. I was an outside cat in a town
an hour from here but I am now in Champaign being socialized by my
foster Mom. I spent a lot of time under the bed. Slowly I began to trust her
as she would come and pet me without moving me. I do not like to be
picked up and will really squirm, but then she started picking me up quickly
and putting me on the bed. She sat next to me and petted me for a long
time. I even started to purr. Then she bought this caterpillar wand toy and
I really like playing with that too. So I am showing that I have potential. I
will now jump on the bed and also have been found sleeping by the pillow.
I have pretty much stayed in one large room over the porch as she has 2
cats that watch me. The door is open and her cats will come in and nap
there too. Now I am looking for a quiet home with someone that knows to
pull their hand away when a cat has had enough. I sleep most of the day
but like to be petted and played with and talked to before going to bed at
night. I am quiet and am not one to run around the house. My personality
is still evolving. I am a muted gray tabby with beautiful green eyes and
would love to have a caring person for a companion.
